UENO-SAN, MASTER ICE CARVER

  1. admin Says:

We’ve never seen ice diamonds carved like this. In fact we’ve never seen an ice diamond before! We used eight hand-carved ice diamonds for this take which Ueno-san began to carve from a metre-long block of solid ice as soon as he arrived. The studio lights may have been melting the ice, but Japan’s finest could take the heat and he kept his cool.

This gets better he more you watch it. Like a good spirit, it gets better with age. I’m so impressed with this that I signed up for the competition in my home country of Australia. Well done Diageo for having the balls to do this. I salute you. JJ
